London Tube Journey Planner

I’ve just run across TubeJP, the London Tube Journey Planner. It’s basically “Google Maps with a tube overlay and public-transport-based pathfinding”, but it’s done very well (and it’s a particularly nice, simple demonstration of the Google Maps API as well).

Wondering how to get from Vauxhall Station to Lambeth North? No problem! (‘take the tube’ is probably the wrong answer). Sure, it’s limited (no mainline train stations, no way to link to a results page), but it’s clean and seems to work well. It’s definitely going to be my default choice for solving this particular problem.
