Google’s brand recognition

This is extremely sad, but I just had to post it. How many tech companies do you think get a mention in The Beano? I can name… one:

A boy says: 'Mum ripped the last page out
of my book. That's witch humour for you. Now I'll never know whodunnit!' A
giraffe answers: 'You could Google it.' — Giraffes on surfboards recommend Google

So there you have it: giraffes on surfboards recommend Google. I wonder if this will affect Google’s brand value?

Okay, so this was really just an excuse for me to play with my camera and GIMP (in its Seashore incarnation for OS X). I’ll post something more serious later :-).
