Wikipedia… to the future!

What do you do if you’re a Wikipedia editor and you find that everything you know about, all current history, has already been incorporated into Wikipedia? Why, you start documenting the future, of course!

For completeness, they’ve put up a disclaimer: “This article or section contains information about scheduled or expected future events.” (Uh, it’s about the future — you think?)

We can also learn useful things about the further future (say, the 2080s), such as the fact that the Sega Dreamcast clock will loop back to 1950 on December 31st, 2085 — though in that case, I doubt there’ll be anyone around to see it, because the previous year, “man perfects the Robotrons, a robot species so advanced that man is inferior to his own creation”. Oh well.
